The Bears Den

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful and cozy ski house, just a short 5-minute drive from Stratton Mountain. The views of the mountain were stunning, adding to the charm of the home. From the start, the host provided excellent communication, ensuring we settled in smoothly and quickly responding to any questions we had throughout our stay. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals for our two families, making dining in easy and convenient. The layout of the house was also perfect for our group—our kids loved having their own living room on the lower level to hang out and play, while the adults enjoyed relaxing upstairs by the fireplace, which had plenty of firewood to keep us warm and cozy. We were lucky to experience a snowstorm that brought 10 inches of fresh powder. While we had to shovel in the morning to make it to the mountain early, the house was well-prepared with enough sand and salt to ensure we could safely navigate the driveway when it was time to leave. Overall, this was a wonderful home for a ski weekend, and we’d definitely stay here again!
